Ok, got a huge amount of work to do over Easter so expect a lot of updates. Here's the first, some late tests for the scarf material. The lightings pretty flat so the displacement doesn't show up very well but it looks pretty cool with proper lighting. The hair and fur modifier looks pretty nice as well. I'm basically taking the approach of doing the texturing and modelling simultaneously, it highlights any issues with unwraps earlier in the pipeline which is great. So far I have the hands and the armour to model as well as some more minor details. Once that's done I can start to skin the character which should just be a case of skin wrapping most parts to the figure, then some kind of bone system for the armour.
